Vendasta is looking for an experienced digital marketer to join our team. The role of the Search Marketing Specialist is to generate leads primarily through organic and paid search, thereby broadening our brand awareness, increasing our search visibility and achieving scalable sales results.
Responsibilities:
- Develop data-driven SEO strategies and actionable onsite / offsite tactics aimed at increasing organic traffic and qualified leads
- Perform SEO audits, prepare SERP reports and analyze site traffic to contribute recommendations for conversion optimization
- Conduct in-depth keyword research to inform our content roadmap and website strategy
- Work with copywriters and designers to deploy landing pages that drive qualified leads
- Work with team members to manage high-performing paid search campaigns and lower the cost-per-lead (CPL) and cost-per-acquisition (CPA) of our accounts
- Identify new digital marketing opportunities to increase qualified leads, as well as contribute ideas that will shape the scope and direction of our platform
- Research and stay familiar with the latest search engine updates and algorithms
Desired Skills/Experience
- 5+ years of SEO and PPC management
- Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and Google AdWords, as well as experience with SEO-specific tools e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, BuzzSumo, Spyfu, Screaming Frog, etc.
- Experience leading organic growth initiatives, preferably in SaaS, with a track record of improving search results that contribute to measurable lifts in sales
- Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- A passion for metrics. Number crunching and data analysis are a big part of the job, so the successful candidate must love statistics and be able to derive meaning from large amounts of data.
