Overall responsibility: Takes orders from customers and assign them to available units/carriers. Communicate load information to units/carriers. Interaction with customers for sales.
Key areas of responsibility
1) Experience with weights and dimensions

5) Driver interaction
-Collect drivers daily hours of service
-Collect, enter, and audit the loaded weights into Axon on completed loads.
-Take drivers requests for booking time off and enter into Axon
6) Axon (enter orders and dispatch to trucks)-Enter order from customer into Axon
-Establish load/unload times and places/directions
-Organize any additional services as required (ie. Trailer wash, border vet, feed, scale, health papers, etc.)
-Assign a unit or carrier to load
-Change order status
-Dispatch the assigned units
-Contact verbally to advise on load location, expected tonnage, and estimated timeline
-Send information to satellite
-Enter truck routing
7) Satellite tracking using Shaw Tracking
8) Experience with geographical regions
9) Experience with customs paperwork
10) Experience with permits
11) Procure orders via customer sales calls
12) Knowledge of pricing loads within target
13) Experience with maintenance repairs
-Planning and scheduling maintenance/repairs on fleet equipment, deal with on road repairs.
14) After hours on call rotation with company cell phone, summary must be given to cross shift/cross division
