The Lac La Ronge Indian Band, Health Services Department is now inviting applications for a permanent full-time Dental Therapist positions for the community of La Ronge.  Under the direction of the Dental Supervisor, the Dental Therapist will perform dental services and dental health education to children enrolled in the Lac La Ronge Indian Band?s Dental Therapy Program.


Duties:

-    Work cooperatively with Health Clinics and schools;
-    Provide complete oral health services to school age children;
-    Provide emergency oral health services to adults;
-    Deliver a Dental Care Program to enhance awareness and improve the oral health status of all LLRIB Members;

Qualifications:

-    Diploma in Dental Therapy, and registered to practice in the Province of Saskatchewan;
-    Experience in planning, scheduling and implementing work programs;
-    Self-motivated and able to work independently;
-    Current Criminal Record Clearance & Child Abuse Record Check;
-    Ability to travel to outlying communities;
-    Must have a valid driver?s license;
-    Ability to speak Cree is an asset;
Salary:    Depending on Education and Experience
