Adecco is currently recruiting for a 6 month Document Control Administrator in Saskatoon, SK. This role requires the candidate to stay on site overnight night with 2 days of work in Saskatoon; transportation will be provided to site. The successful candidate will ensure consistency in document control processes, metadata requirements, content, form, review and approvals by using the document register to create a complete information asset which matches the physical asset that will be delivered to Operations.
Responsibilities of the Document Control Administrator:
- Extensive knowledge of document control processes and procedures
- Maintain a complete data base and respective metadata
- Perform quality checks of documents to enable the effective workflow of technical document for review/approval
- Act as a liaison between head office document control and site contractors
- Ensure compliance with company standards
- Manage engineering work packages
- Register documents and assist with final document handover
- Provide direction regarding the document register, metadata, and systems
- Provide feedback and ideas regarding development and improvement
Qualifications of Document Control Administrator:
- Technical degree or diploma with 7 years of related experience in document control
- EPCM experience in engineering or oil & gas
- Experience with Microsoft Suite, Aconex, SharePoint, SmartPlant
- Technical understanding of engineering documents
- Candidates must demonstrate attention to detail, effective management, and initiative
- Must be able to work under pressure and in accordance with deadlines
