Contango Strategies (www.contangostrategies.com) is seeking to expand our team with the addition of a scientist in the role of Environmental Microbiologist. Our work is in the context of bioremediation in the mining and oil and gas sectors, as well as other industrial settings. We have a team of scientists and technologists, in-house DNA sequencing, and pilot-scale testing facilities. This position will involve collaborative work with our team to achieve project deliverables for clients and internal research projects for new technology development.
This full-time position will commence as soon as possible, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

The position will involve:
- Working collaboratively with our team to meet client project deliverables
- Critically analyzing data, assembling figures, graphs, and technical reports with interpretations for clients
- Conducting literature searches
- Experimental design and drafting proposals for client projects
- Assisting with new technology development
You may also help our team with other duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS: To apply for this job, you should have a MSc in a relevant field. Knowledge of advanced statistical analyses is an asset for the position.
