Riverbend Crossing Memory Care Community is seeking candidates for the position of Casual Resident Assistant in our facility dedicated to residents living with Alzheimer's Disease and other forms of Dementia.

Please note that this position is casual and summer relief.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION include:

- Assists resident with performance of activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing,
grooming
- Assist with meal service
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry service
- Assist with delivery of activities programs as laid out by the Social Director
- Reporting and recording changes in condition to the shift supervisors and working collaboratively with the team toward resolution of concerns or problems.
- NIGHT position includes laundry and housekeeping duties as well as supervision of residents on the units.

Preference is given to candidates with a Continuing Care Assistant Certificate from a recognized college, and have a current First Aid/CPR Certificate. Previous experience working in a Personal Care Home is an asset.

1-2 years experience is preferred.
