University of Saskatchewan
The Office of the Medical Health Officer, Population Health Unit
requires the services of an

Executive Assistant (term with possibility of extension)

Northern Medical Services Medical Health Officers working out of the Population Health Unit, La Ronge, require the services of a clerical support person on a full-time or part-time basis from August to October 2016. There is also a possibility of extension.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the various administrative and clerical support  to the Medical Health Officers including data entry of public health related information, assembly, tracking, and dissemination of related public health supplies and resources; assisting in the development of reports and presentation materials including undertaking internet searches of health literature; coordinating meetings and teleconferences; arranging air travel and accommodations; preparing letters and legal documents; filing and other administrative duties as required.

The ideal candidate will possess a Grade 12 education and experience preferably in a medical setting. Demonstrated computer skills along with a keen attention to accuracy and detail, and the ability to learn quickly, work independently and maintain confidentiality are essential. Excellent organization and communication skills are required. Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset.
