David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit an experienced Territory Manager to develop a newly formed territory in their commercial sector. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role will be the key commercial contact to our clients customers
The Role:
Work with customers to provide commercial development, analyze requirements and provide technical guidance in solving technical issues through accurate quoting and project implementation
Provide product information and training to customers, ensure key customers and developing accounts are serviced appropriately to achieve annual company objectives
Implement sales plans, marketing, pricing and distribution strategies to the assigned territory
Nurtures a cooperative commercial relationship with all customers on their assigned territory
Monitor and report competitive market information and pricing and make suggestions to management for improvements in all areas
The Ideal Candidate:
Bachelors degree in Sales/Marketing or a technical discipline is preferred
Ten years experience in a building supplies sales environment with strong familiarity to the manufacturing environment
Demonstrates excellent communications, training and leadership skills
Proven project management experience would be considered an asset
Familiarity with MS Office (Excel) and SAP system
