Administrative Assistant (Pharmacy Technician) to the Assistant Registrar

Our client, The Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join a progressive staff who value innovation and teamwork.  In this newly created role, you will provide administrative assistance and support to the Assistant Registrar in the areas of Pharmacy Technician registration and licensing, professional practice, and committee responsibilities related to the Assistant Registrar role.

Responsibilities include:
- Administration support to the Professional Practice Committee: assist with event organization; proof, edit and finalize documents; post background information prior to meetings; arrange meetings and collate results; prepare minutes and documents as required.
- Registration and membership processing: creation of letter templates/form letters; database updates; email and telephone inquiries; intern registration and certificates; exam scheduling; application forms processing; fees, letters of standing and proof of malpractice, prepare certificates, renew memberships.
- Statistical reporting of Jurisprudence Exam results: evaluate results and provide professional perspective of exam defensibility and fairness.

Education & Experience:
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Saskatchewan preferred, but candidates eligible for or pursuing licensure will also be considered.
- A legal or administrative support background with relevant admin training or experience is an asset.

- Able to adapt to changing priorities, strong clerical skills, strong computer abilities, discretion and tact in observing privacy and confidentiality policies.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to work independently and with a team, and effectively interact with members, registration candidates and the public.
