The Copywriter is responsible for analyzing client briefs, developing concepts, and writing copy for use in advertising and design. Working closely with account planners, art directors, and clients, the copywriter provides creative and strategic messaging to help build strong brands and ensure client objectives are successfully met.
Responsibilities:
Works with art director(s) and account planners to develop ad campaigns and creative concepts of outstanding quality for outdoor, radio, TV, print, interactive and online, direct mail, brochures, and other forms of promotion for agency and clients.
Writes ads that help to build awareness of and strengthen client brands, products and product benefits, as well as stimulate sales.
Strives for excellence in creative concept/copy, helping agency to gain recognition for excellent work within the industry and business communities.
Oversees project copy from inception through completion, in order to ensure a high level of quality and maintenance of concept through approval of design.
Manage and direct the creative execution of various mediums, including radio and television production.
Researches clients products/services/image to ensure all copy and concepts are accurate, on-target, and on-brand.
Works with the creative and account team to develop and maintain brand personality for all clients, ensuring a clear and consistent brand identity is portrayed across all media.
Assures that all copy is checked and proofread.
Works to ensure all copy and concepts serve the purpose of building and promoting the clients brand image and/or selling their product or service, in accordance with their strategic plan.
