Description

We are currently looking for a high school student who is able to work several days a week 3:30-5:30 and some Saturdays.  The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

- a positive attitude and team mentality
- excellent customer service skills
- be physically fit, able to lift 50 to 100 lbs in repetition
- safety conscious
- able to follow written and verbal instruction
- use of computers and Microsoft Office
- safely use power tools
- valid class 5 drivers license

Job responsibilities will be many and varied to suit the successful applicant, but could include the following

- assisting in receiving  counting to verify that packing slips match shipment
- assisting in merchandising  putting items on shelves, reorganizing, and making sure properly priced and labeled
- cleaning shelves
- filling orders and supplying materials to customer
- cashier duties and monetary transactions
- loading trucks for deliveries and customer orders
- deliveries of building materials and hardware
- data entry
- use of Microsoft Office programs for various purposes
- small projects requiring power tool use
