Description

With over 30 years of experience, PCHS (Pro-Check Home Services) is Canadas leading property management company.  Our specialty is managing distressed properties (Power of Sale and Foreclosures) for our clients in the commercial, residential and financial sectors.  We pride ourselves in being able to tailor our services to meet the needs of our business partners across the country.  

We are currently looking for an Inspector/General Maintenance Technician who is handy, skillful and industry savvy; and has experience completing property checks, inspections, minor repairs and cleanups.

Primary Responsibilities:
    Managing client files from start to finish as assigned by our account managers for a specific region while keeping deadlines and client satisfaction in mind
    Perform general handyman duties including but not limited to: minor carpentry and repairs, inspections, lock replacement and repairs
    Ability to  cost effectively assess a job site to determine scope of work  such as providing estimates for medium and large size jobs for repair or renovations
    Ability to source contractors and or materials for jobs when necessary
    Maintain ongoing communication with account managers and dispatch team regarding the status of the client file via phone, e-mail, etc.
    Report and handle customer questions or complaints, escalate when necessary
    Perform other related duties as required
Requirements:
    1-2 years of general maintenance experience
    Basic carpentry skills and must have own tools
    Experience sourcing materials
    Strong written and verbal communication skills
    Effective problems solving skills and customer service oriented
    Reliable transportation, valid drivers license and insurance
    Must have daily access to e-mail and phone
    Must have basic computer skills
