Applications are invited for the position of a Full Time Temporary (7.5 hrs/day 10 months) Outreach Worker II in Melfort with duties to commence October 17th, 2016 and concluding June 30th, 2017.
Reporting to the Coordinator of Integrated Services, the successful applicant will work closely with school administration, staff, parents, the community, and other agencies to implement and coordinate programs for at-risk children in Melfort as well as develop and implement effective strategies that will support all children and youth.
To qualify as an Outreach Worker II, the successful candidate will possess:
a Bachelors degree in Social Work or Psychology from a recognized post secondary institution
experience working with aboriginal children and youth
experience working with at-risk youth and their families
strong organizational skills
be willing to work a flexible schedule
a valid drivers licence with access to a motor vehicle
be willing to join the Local CUPE 4875 union
