Summary:
The Senior Audit Tech ensures that all our clients corporate accounting policies and procedures are adhered to. This individual must be knowledgeable of, and accountable for all applicable laws and regulations. This role reports all reliable accounting data directly to the Partners while leading a team of audit members.

Job Duties:
-Preparation of financial statements and tax filings in accordance with our company standards for clients.
-Plan and oversee the fieldwork for audits and reviews of small to medium sized organizations in a variety of industries.
-Supervise the preparation of financial statements of audit clients and review the work of the audit team while completing the complex portions of the file.
-Communicate with our clients, government agencies, and other staff.
-Keep Partners and other team members informed of progress and significant issues.
-Providing supervision and training to other staff members.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
-CPA Designation required
-A minimum of three (3) years? public accounting experience is preferred, with an emphasis on assurance.
-Above average analytical and problem solving skills
-An understanding of all current auditing ethics codes and laws required
-Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead client engagements
-Thorough knowledge of accounting practices/procedures
-Remain current and knowledgeable of accepted accounting and assurance rules, practices, tax laws, and reporting requirements
-Commitment to professional client service
-Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a team
-Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
-Proficiency in MS Office applications, Adobe, Caseware, Jazzit and Profile software.
-Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all areas of work
-Work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Travel will be required

Education: CPA Designation
