The focus of this position is to assist in the production of baked goods, assisting customers, bagging products, slicing product, building trays and sandwiches, prepping salad bar, stocking shelves, rotating stock, checking for outdated products and general clean up procedures, as well as help out in all other areas of the Bakery/Deli as needed. This position requires moving of product of up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Candidates must be able to work 32-40 hours a week in a variety of days, evenings, and weekend shifts, as well as be bondable with a strong work ethic and able to work all shifts. Previous retail experience in the bakery/deli industry and/or previous experience at a retail Co-op will be considered an asset.
