IT FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

The Northern Lights School Division #113 has an opening for an IT Field Service Technician.  Reporting to the Manager of Information Technology, the individual will be a member of the Division's technology unit. The position is solution oriented and client focused in the field delivery of timely, meaningful, and transparent information technology solutions in support of the educational process.  

The school division consists of one central office located in La Ronge, one sub-office located in Beauval and 19 schools in beautiful northern Saskatchewan thus extensive travel to remote locations will be required.

The successful candidate will possess demonstrated experience equivalent to or verified by certification in a majority of the following areas: CompTIA A+, Linux+, Red Hat CSA, MCSE: Desktop Infrastructure, MOS or MCSA: Office 365, CompTIA Network+, CCENT, Premise Wiring, BICSI, Fluke, and HP printer repair.  Proven verbal, listening, written, and digital communication skills are essential, as the individual will be required to interact with and assist staff division-wide. A current valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle is required.
