Description

This is an exciting time to be at Farm Business Consultants! We are growing and we are looking for someone who enjoys helping others and creating raving fans to join us as a Field Consultant (Tax Specialist in Training). This position reports into our North Battleford, SK office, however we are looking for someone to provide service to the areas in and around Lloydminster, SK. If you live in or near Lloydminster, we encourage you to apply.

This is a developmental role and you do not need to be a tax specialist to apply. We will provide extensive training and development to support your success in this role.


POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Team Lead, the Field Consultant is a key member of a team of trusted advisors who make life less taxing for Farm and Small Business owners. The Field Consultant role is all about service! You will look after our valued Members and be the face of FBC in the communities in which we operate. A typical week as a Field Consultant involves providing Member service, participating in career development activities and growing a territory. You will visit Members at their homes or places of business, gathering necessary financial information as well as providing advice and consultation. In addition, you will focus a portion of your time on prospecting, acquiring referrals and selling new memberships.

This role combines Accounting, Bookkeeping, Tax, Customer Service, and Business Development for an exciting and rewarding career. The Field Consultant role is perfect for someone who:
