The scenario,
A new client wants an on-location remote with one of Harvard Reginas three radio stations, the Riders have a game and a big name band is coming to town. As Harvard Reginas new Remote Coordinator you will be involved in these events by setting up and taking down the broadcast equipment and promotional displays for these events.
Once you have finished, it is lunch time! Now for the afternoon.
Taking direction from many sources and being able prioritize all the moving pieces to meet all deadlines, short and long, is the essence of this position.
If you have a bring it on way of looking at things and dont shy away from challenges on a day to day basis you may be the person we are looking for.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Setup and teardown of all remote location broadcasts
Organization and maintenance of all remote equipment
Organization of storage room
Booking of lines for remote location broadcasts
Maintenance of asset registry
Assist Engineering to do weekly transmitter readings
Attend weekly promotions meetings
Monitor and book station vehicle maintenance
Other duties as assigned
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to effectively communicate via written word and speech
Organizational skills prioritization of tasks to meet short and long term deadlines
Ability to use Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
Time management
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
Essential Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license and provide a current drivers abstract
Team player
Prior radio experience would be an asset
