Our client, a leader in farming and construction equipment sales, finance and repair, is looking for an experienced Ag Parts Person to join their team in Kindersley, SK. This role provides friendly and knowledgeable customer service by providing the customer with the right solution and product in a timely manner.
The Role:
Provide effective support to the parts and warehousing departments.
Focus on inventory performance, accuracy and obsolescence and developing strategies to improve service levels.
Participate in a continual improvement culture through process evaluation and improvement.
Establishing and maintaining housekeeping standards.
Ensure Health and Safety compliance.
Focus on continued training and exceptional customer service.
Effective support with inventory turns and slow moving inventory.
Customer relationships and effective support for customer fill rates.
Promote the Precision Farming products through counter sales support.
The Ideal Candidate:
Candidate to have a minimum of 3-5 years working in a similar position, preferably in the Agricultural Equipment Industry or related business.
Must be a team player, goal oriented, well organized, and have great leadership, communication, computer and administration skills.
NewHolland Agricultural Equipment familiarity preferred.
Ability to step into role quickly and potentially mentor others.
Current, or interest in attaining, Parts Technician Certification.
Compensation:
Our client has a very competitive remuneration program for the right person, including medical, dental and disability, monthly, quarterly and annual performance bonus and a generous RSP matching plan. Regular hours will include on-call and rotational weekends (approx. 1 in 4) with OT or in-lieu as required during busy seasons.
