Job Description:

Northern Konstar Potatoes Ltd., of Outlook, SK, is an innovative, internationally operating potato production organization.  Konstar is currently seeking a potato breeding assistant to join their team.  If you have 3-5 years of related experience, and would like to be part of the Konstar team, apply today.

Duties:
    Provide technical support to the Konstar research team and Farm Manager
    Assist in study of breeding and composition of potatoes for the purpose of improving nutritional value and agronomical traits, for improved yields and appearance etc.
    Perform experimental research in agriculture, genotype selection and apply methods to select new character traits to improve crops produced
    Conduct field research and surveys to collect data, water, soil and plant samples
    Perform technical functions in support of agriculture, variety description and crop research
    Analyze data and prepare reports
    Ensure standards for safe working conditions are observed
    Good communication skills
    Attention to detail
