In your role, you will:
Plan all scheduled aircraft maintenance;
Produce work packages detailing the required scheduled maintenance, Out of Sequence Inspections (OSI's) & Maintenance Significant Items (MSI's), embodiment of modifications, and completion of deferred maintenance;
Schedule outstanding maintenance or modification tasks on maintenance opportunity basis;
Forecast the need for scheduled maintenance parts and order and track parts as necessary;
Track status of parts for outstanding maintenance and upcoming Engineering Actions (EA) work;
Control aircraft component and fleet inspection stagger through production and monitoring of stagger charts and making appropriate aircraft usage recommendations (i.e. push/hold).
Support the development of tools that will facilitate maintenance planning activities.
Conduct Failure trend and Safety trend monitoring in support of airworthiness requirements.
As required, assist in the development of Engineering Actions (EAs), coordinate fleet implementation activities, monitor and report on implementation status;
Requirements
Advanced skills in the use of MS Excel, MS Access, and/or other database planning tools an important asset.
Effective verbal communication skills - able to communicate efficiently and with tact and diplomacy:
Strong written communication skills - able to develop clear and concise reports and clearly state recommended actions;
Proven experience as a team player.
Candidate must successfully pass a security evaluation per the requirements of the Controlled Goods Directorate of Canada and to CAE Military Aviation Training Inc being able to obtain all necessary re-transfer authorizations with US ITAR regulations.
