Eden Care Communities is looking for a Recreation Manager for our Regina Lutheran Home facility.
The Manager of Recreation Services is responsible for the quality and management of care and services provided for our elders and tenants at Regina Lutheran Home The manager will be responsible for incorporating the vision, mission, and goals of Eden Care Communities. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Physical Activities, Therapeutic Recreation experience, CTRS certification an asset.
From delivering services to our elders and residents, to the way we work with colleagues, members of the ECC team uphold a common set of values. Our philosophy and principles are the foundation of our organization and set the standard for everything we do.

serve.
The Manager of Recreation Services will:
Establish, promote, and fosters effective communication with the elders and families, and other services and agencies within and outside the Eden Care Communities.
Is actively involved in day to day planning as well as long range planning of the services, including working collaboratively with community partners and other programs and services.
Promotes program evaluation and development thru research, best practice, and involvement in student practicum placements and other educational opportunities.
Provides leadership and support to recreation staff, volunteers, elders, and families.
Responsible for performing staff performance evaluations.
Ensures program development and implementation to appropriately meet the diverse therapeutic and complex needs and interests of the elders, families, and community we serve.
Responsible for ensuring that policies and procedures are followed, program goals established, metrics and audits are in place, and collected as required, reviewed and used for continuous improvement.
