Job Description: 3sHealth is looking for a collaborative and innovative leader with extensive strategic and hands-on experience with benefit programs and services. Reporting to the Vice President, People & Culture, the Director, Employee Benefits plays a key role in delivering comprehensive employee benefit plans to 90 employers and 42,000 employees and their families, allowing employees to focus on better care for patients, while ensuring 3sHealth continues to support improved quality and savings for the healthcare system.

The Director is responsible for the overall management of four Disability Income Plans, Group Life Plans, and all Health and Dental Plans; provides leadership and direction in the areas of adjudication, plan rules, management of the plans' financial resources and the systems used to support the work we do for our customers. The Director works closely with participating employers, union representatives, regulating authorities, actuaries and external consultants regarding these plans in support of better care, better health, better value and better teams in Saskatchewan's healthcare system.

What we're looking for:

Experience within the insurance industry in the areas of underwriting, valuations, claims administration, or claims adjudication and/or marketing;

An undergraduate degree in a related discipline, plus a minimum of 10 years' management experience and completion of a leadership program;

Demonstrated success in designing and managing benefits programs in large, complex, multi-union, public sector organizations;

Knowledge of investments and a demonstrated  ability to work with investment consultants, fund managers and custodians;

Demonstrated ability to lead a team of direct reports, set performance expectations and ensure high quality delive
