A Research Nurse is needed to work on an influenza vaccine study in Hutterite colonies in southwest Saskatchewan.
This is a double-blind study from McMaster University, that involves following colony members and healthy children who are immunized against influenza. This is an exciting long-term study whose aim is to provide vital information regarding influenza immunization.
We are looking for Registered RNs to administer the study vaccines (FLUAD or FLUZONE ), go through questionnaires, and complete the study reporting requirements. This will be a very exciting and unique experience because you will be working with the Hutterites. Extensive travel is involved, so you will need to have access to a reliable vehicle. You will be compensated for travel.
Candidates must be SRNA registered and have experience with vaccination and be comfortable vaccinating young children. Strong knowledge of research and excellent organizational skills are required.
This will be a casual temporary part-time contract position running from October 2016 to January 2017
