Description

SLGA is seeking a new permanent full-time Director for its Liquor Inspection Services branch. Reporting to the Vice-President, Regulatory Services Division, the position is responsible for developing and implementing compliance, enforcement and education programs related to the beverage alcohol industry, including all permittees involved in the manufacture, on-table sale, and retail sales of alcohol in the province. This position has responsibility for ensuring oversight practices, policy, regulations, legislation, and standards requirements are effective in protecting the public interest. This position also contributes to the development of the overall provincial regulatory framework. The Liquor Inspection Services branch has employees working out of both Regina and Saskatoon that report to the Director, and as such travel will be required to ensure the proper oversight of both locations.
