Description

The Assessment Coordinator provides support to Treaty Four Education Alliance and alliance schools in developing and implementing outcome based assessment plans. The Assessment Coordinator is the primary coordinator of the cycle of student assessments selected by T4EA for all schools. This individual works closely with the School Success Coordinator and School Success Analyst to coordinate and manage the effective implementation of assessments, ethical and secure collection and storage of data, and analysis and reporting of data results to schools for use in School Success Planning.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Work within a cross-functional team to support the entire assessment cycle
    Create a schedule of assessments, administer assessments and provide T4EA consultants an analysis to support school success planning and action plans

QUALIFICATIONS:

    Excellent communication skills, specifically with an ability to support others in making sense of high level, complex data and information
    Ability to design and deliver high-quality professional learning opportunities for a variety of audiences
    Highly organized, confidential and sensitive to community, school and student data and information, with experience in developing and/or implementing data sharing protocols and procedures, with an understanding of the Principles of OCAP, and First Nations treaty rights to education
    Highly proficient with a variety of data, with the ability to produce relevant and timely charts, graphs and reports for a variety of audiences
    Knowledge and understanding of the use of new and emerging technologies to support teaching and learning.
    A Master of Education is preferred, but an equivalent range of education and experience will be considered A valid Professional A Saskatchewan teachers certificate
    3-5 years classroom teaching experience
