QMTI/QGTI is providing new technology to the food processing industry and is seeking an individual to become part of our revolutionary family.
Experience in Industrial equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and maintenance of machinery and control panels.
Experience in assembling,erecting and installing machinery in an industrial environment
Ability to read and interpret power and control diagrams/schematics for control panels and machines
Ability to troubleshoot 3 phase power circuits for motors and power components. Experience in programming VFDs, understanding of working principles and maintenance of electrical switchgear like MCCBs, contactors and mpcbs.
Hands on experience working with and assembling gearboxes, conveyor rollers, conveyor drives, conveyor belts, large mechanical assemblies.
Ability to understand logic ladder diagrams of PLCs and upload/download PLC programs.
Prior experience in machine installation and maintenance in the food processing industry would be an asset
Will need a passport and be willing to travel throughout North America on short service calls.
Drivers licence is a requirement.
We will train the successful applicant to industry and company standards.
