The Saskatchewan Foster Families Association exists to support and encourage foster families through education and advocacy, helping create healthy homes, positive environments, and brighter futures for children and youth in care across the province.
We are currently seek an applicant to support a youth through 1 on 1 supervision. This child requires supervision and mentoring to assist in the ensured safety of all persons in the home. The successful applicant will be flexible in order to successfully meet the changing demands in the workplace. The chosen applicant will also be confident, self motivated, and an individual who demonstrates reliability, professionalism and a calm demeanor.
Qualifications:
- Post secondary education or relevant work experience with children and youth
- Demonstrate and practice a healthy lifestyle
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with children, supervisors and partnering agencies; Maintaining strict confidentially and appropriate boundaries
-Must have a Valid Driver's License and be 18 years of age
- Criminal Record Check
The salary for this position will be dependence on experience. Health Benefits will be available after 3 months of employment
