Reporting to the Mine Maintenance Superintendent, the Mine Senior Maintenance Planner will supervise the planners and give overall direction to the mine maintenance planning group. This position will work with the mine leadership team in developing and implementing mine goals and objectives, including the growth and development of the Mine Planning Dept.
Preferred candidates will have an applicable Journeyperson Trade Certificate or Engineering Degree and have five years of experience in maintenance and maintenance planning. Experience in setup and development of a maintenance planning system would be preferred.
The successful candidate must be a highly motivated self starter who possesses the demonstrated ability to work in a challenging fast paced environment.
The successful candidate may be required to undergo a background check. All safety sensitive positions require a substance test in accordance with PotashCorp policy.
