Alliance Health medical clinic at the University of Regina requires an echocardiography technologist. Applicant must be able to perform Echo, stress echo, stress test, ECG and Holter. Ideal applicant will also be able to perform diagnostic ultrasound for other bodyparts.
Alliance Health is a multi-disciplinary clinic with family physicians, surgeons, specialists, all allied health care practitioners (i.e., nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy), pharmacy, lab, X ray, diagnostic ultrasound and cardiovascular diagnostics. The new employee will join a cardiologist and an internist to lead a new array of comprehensive services including cardiac rehabilitation.

Specific Skills
- Record and store suitable images by using camera unit connected to the ultrasound equipment
- Prepare examination reports for physicians
- Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to produce and record images
- Observe and care for patients throughout examinations
- Monitor examination to evaluate quality and consistency of diagnostic images
- Check ultrasound equipment to ensure proper operation
