Thank you.
We are looking for an experienced automotive and recreational mechanic with tire experience to manage and work in our fast-paced shop. The owner is semi-retiring and needs someone who will step up to the plate to run this already successful business. There are a lot of hours to be put into running a successful business so if you are not willing to do that, this position is not for you.
Our shop needs to run efficiently to be competitive. We need someone who is organized and can work under time constraints and constant change from one task to another. A typical day is taking customer phone calls, managing the technicians in the back and tending to walk-in customers, all while squeezing in paperwork. At times, you have to get your hands dirty to help out the technicians if they need your expertise. All of this requires your constant attention to ensure that the job is getting done with quality and out the door ready for the next customer.
You need to be proficient on the computer and have knowledge of Quickbooks. The paperwork can be difficult to get to during a busy day, so it may need to be done after hours. This can be financing for customers, warranty, inventory and parts ordering.
What is described here are the MINIMUM requirements of the position. There is a lot yet to learn on the job, so these requirements would be only the foundation for a successful career in this company. If you are capable of doing this job and want a long term successful career in a great community, please apply now! Please no SINP or LMO/LMIA applicants.
Driver License Class 3A OR 5A.
