The Ministry of Social Services, Valley View Centre, located in Moose Jaw, is seeking a caring and empathetic individual who is passionate about supporting and assisting intellectually disabled individuals live their lives to the fullest.

In this rewarding opportunity, you will work interdependently within a home-like environment providing physical, emotional and personal care to the residents of the Centre.  You will be required to assist them in their every day living which will involve participation in care plan development and observation.  As a team player, you will be respectful of the diversity of others and promote a healthy, productive and safe work environment that is free of discrimination.  Please note this position may be exposed to the risk of violent situations.

Typically, the knowledge for this position would be gained through experience on the job.  However, previous experience working with intellectually disabled individuals and/or completion of a Special Care Aide program, would be considered a definite asset.
