Description

Applications are invited for a permanent full-time Tier II Technical Analyst based out of one of the following communities: Kipling, Kennedy, Grenfell, Broadview, Whitewood, to commence as soon as possible.  The Technical Analyst will work under the direction of the Supervisor of Communications and Information Technology and is accountable for the effective delivery of IT services and solutions.  Responsibilities include implementing and managing the technical solutions for the school division and delivering onsite technical support to end users.  Daily travel is required and a company vehicle is provided.  
Qualifications include:
Bachelor Degree  or Diploma in a computer related discipline and/or related certifications combined with experience
A+ Certification or equivalent PC knowledge.
Understanding of ITIL Methodologies and/or IT Best Practices.
Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks in a Windows environment is essential.
3-5 years of demonstrated technical expertise required.
Time management and project skills.

The preferred candidate will have:
A working knowledge of PC computers, Windows 7/ Windows 8/ Windows 10 computers, Windows 2008/2012 servers, related peripherals, and networks.
Knowledge of Servers, workstations and printer hardware
Demonstrated knowledge of local and wide area networks.
A valid class 5 drivers license.
A criminal records check.
Good communication and interpersonal skills and a strong client service orientation.
