FULL-TIME COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSE
As a member of the Muskoday Health Department, the successful candidate will provide comprehensive community health nursing which is a preventative holistic, and integrated with existing community programs and services. You will be under the direct supervision of the Director of Health at the Muskoday Community Health Centre.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Diploma of Nursing with three (3) years nursing experience preferably in public or community health
Must be currently registered and in good standing with SRNA;
Level C , Basic Cardiac Life Support and Current CPR & First Aid;
Current Inoculist Certification / Immunization experience;
Strong Case Management & Client Assessment skills;
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team;
Understanding of First Nation Culture and Traditions would be an asset;
Demonstrate strong interpersonal collaborative communication skills;
Strong organizational skills;
Able to work in a flexible, challenging environment;
Basic computer skills and knowledge of computer programs;
Valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle. Travel may be required.
