Description

Dasro is looking for a Senior Project Manger to work onsite for one of its public sector clients in Regina.

DUTIES
The Project Manager(s) will be responsible for all elements of project management throughout each of the project phases, including:
    Pre-construction and project planning.  The expectation is that the proponent will provide expertise in determining cost effective solutions and efficient delivery methodologies for each assigned project.
    Working with a team of internal and external professionals to achieve project objectives and deliverables.
    Monitoring a master schedule and all actions necessary to achieve all milestones on schedule including prompting schedule revisions and required change requests, as required.
    Reviewing tender documents and specifications and providing quality control feedback to the project team ensuring timely execution of all required tender documents.
    Administering of contracts.
    Working in the interest of the client and coordinating the provision of expert advice during and prior to project kick-off.
    Track invoices to ensure that they are accurate and paid in a timely way.
    Develop robust lessons learnt documentation to support subsequent projects of a similar nature.

QUALIFICATIONS
    Over 10 years of Project Management experience in the construction field
    Experience managing large scale projects
    Experience using Esri or other document management/collaboration software
    Experience in the public sector is an asset
    Experience and familiarity with community planning is an asset
    Familiarity in the area of land development and the various requirements inherent to developing land.  Example: permitting, zoning, etc.
    Excellent ability to facilitate group discussions or/and public consultations
    Experience working with c level executives in both the public and private sector
    PMP certification preferred
    Bachelors Degree in Engineering, construction, Community Development or related field.
