Description

Are you a dynamic, energetic, compassionate person who would enjoy working with youth from the ages of 12 -17?  Do you like spending time recreationally or sharing your talents with youth? If so, we would like to hear from you! Our adolescent group home is designed to accommodate up to 6 co-ed residents.
Qualifications and experience:
-    Good knowledge of adolescent development
-    Familiarity with issues of youth at risk
-    Good physical mobility and valid driver's license
-    Strong communication skills
-    Experience or training in the human services field
-    Able to provide care and supervision to youth
-    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-    Certificate in First Aid with CPR (or willing to acquire)
-    Youth Care Worker Certificate or Diploma is an asset but not essential (some amount of training is provided for successful applicants)
The successful candidate will be required to work shift work including weekends, weekdays, and some night shifts. This is a casual shift-relief position--hours are not guaranteed.
All successful candidates will require a clean criminal record vulnerable sector check and a valid Saskatchewan driver's licence.
