Project Manager(Full-time, Permanent)
The primary purpose of the Project Manager role is to provide effective leadership to cross functional teams and ensure projects are managed and completed within the scope parameters by applying project management methodology.
Key Outcomes:
Responsible to provide effective leadership to multi-discipline/cross functional project teams and stakeholders by:
Managing development for multiple projects from initiation to closure,being accountable for project results along with the project sponsor and working with the stakeholders to complete the project charter outlining the scope,goals, deliverables,required resources,budget and timing
Responsible to manage a group of related projects in a coordinated way to obtain benefits and control not available from managing them individually through the application of program
Manage, develop, implement and maintain additional services by applying innovative project management techniques by:
Executing key initiative scoping integrated with strategic planning processes to assist with alignment of strategy and projects
Providing support to leadership and committees through advice, guidance, tools and techniques from which to base decisions on enterprise projects including initiative prioritization, resourcing, preparation of budgets, resource loading and timelines
Qualifications:
3-5 years of demonstrated experience in project management
Completion of or in final stages of completion of the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation
Related ITIL qualifications are an asset for management of IT projects
