At Bamboo Shoots we know that awesome doesnt just appear out of thin air.  To create video content that inspires, informs and engages you need talented storytellers who are a passionate and committed and most importantly you need creativity.  At Bamboo Shoots we wrap our storytellers in a community that fosters creativity.   Whether its Friday a wrap party in our office Tiki bar or our awesome summer barbecue our laid back environment builds on an environment of trust, teamwork and most importantly creativity.  And, weve had great success with this model, creating series television, documentaries, commercials, educational and corporate videos as well as live event coverage.
The director is responsible for creating, developing and delivering video concepts that effectively communicate our clients message and enhance their brand identity.  They are responsible for writing and pitching creative concepts for commercials, corporate videos, and short documentaries.  Working with Bamboo Shoots creative team and oversee all elements from pre to post-production, ensuring each production achieves the highest level of quality and consistency throughout. Working with talent, clients and ad agency representatives to maintain client satisfaction. Researching potential interviewees, sourcing footage, images and graphics, as well as interviewing subjects.
The ideal candidate is creative, personable, and can effectively communicate their ideas to clients and team members. They have experience using a number of different camera technologies ranging from DSLR cameras ( 5dmkiii), ENG cameras (Panasonic P2), and digital cinema cameras (Sony f5). They are proficient editing in Adobe Premiere Pro, as well a proficiency in Photoshop, After Effects and Da Vinci Resolve is an asset. Experience working in a Multi-Camera live, live-to-tape, and streaming environment is also an asset.
