Description

Reporting to the Program Leader, the RAs responsibilities will include assisting with the development and execution of experiments and protocols under controlled conditions to screen pea germplasm for aphanomyces root rot resistance; assist in marker-assisted selection for aphanomyces root rot, data analysis and reporting; supervision of junior technical support staff and liaison and coordination with other members of the team. The RA is also expected to contribute to the general operation of the pulse crop pathology program and is expected to work with minimal supervision. https://agbio.usask.ca/
