Churchbridge Daycare is now accepting applications for a Assistant Director/Inclusion Coordinator . Churchbridge Daycare Board along with management will be in charge of hiring for the position.
** Wage will be discussed upon hiring.
Responsibilities as Assistand Director:
-Management of Staff: assist in rooms when needed, replace staff and be in ratio as needed, interact and play with children daily, motivate and coach staff, be trustworthy and dependable for staff, and be able to handle staff conflicts or concerns.
-Administrative Duties: payroll, parent billing, invoices and deposits, staff scheduling,
managing the budget, child care fees, applying for grants,
coordinating any building maintenance required. Complete other daily, weekly and monthly office duties. Must have computer skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exercise attention to detail and be organized with documents and filing systems. Must have professional leadership skills and assume the role of a team leader. Assist on the floor when needed and assist in housekeeping duties. Ensuring compliance with Ministry of Education Licensee Manual
guidelines.
-Act as a liaison between the Centre and the Board of Directors,
providing regular updates on the functioning of the Centre.
-The director will be trained in the office prior to the start date.
Responsibilities as Inclusion Coordinator;
-Observe and relate to children on all levels of learning and adapt to their needs
-Understand and work with the child and ensuring needs of child being met
-Speak and empathy with parent
-Work and coordinate with supporting professionals
-Program activies that met the goal of the childrens program plan
-Communicate with staff and director
Qualifications:
- Education in Early Childhood Level 11
- CPR & First Aid
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Administrative & organizational skills
