Meridian Manufacturing Inc. (MMI) in Regina, SK consists of over 150 dedicated employees who design and manufacture top of the line grain augers, bins, conveyors, aeration and movers which are sold coast to coast and around the world. For over fifty years MMI has manufactured quality equipment and continues to strive for customer excellence and satisfaction.

Job Summary:  
Reporting to the Fabrication Supervisor, the Fabricator I is responsible for fabricating parts according to blueprints and/or verbal instructions to produce agricultural equipment in a timely matter.

Overall Main Responsibilities:  
    Ability to read engineering drawing, includes understanding of symbols, dimensioning, angle and degrees.
    Knowledgeable and has the ability to use and read measuring tools, like tape measure, protractor, calipers etc.
    Know the basic fundamentals of fabrication.
    Keep work area clean and organized.
    Understand how to use a square.
    Understand and practice of daily preventive maintenance.

Knowledge Required:
    2 years of fabricating is preferred
    Combination of education and experience will be considered assets.

Experience and Skills Required:  
    Mechanical aptitude will be considered an asset; experience using measuring instruments is required.
    Fork Lift and/or Crane Operator Licences will be considered an asset

The successful applicants must have a superior work ethic, excellent time management skills and a positive attitude. The work environment will include; working alone or as part of a team and following safe work practices. Advanced experience in the agricultural industry will be considered an asset in addition to any manufacturing related certifications. Wages for these positions will vary according to level of experience and qualifications.
