The lot manager is responsible for the activities of the lot attendants. They ensure that the building, premises, and inventory are all in excellent condition. They will manage a small team of people and report to the sales manager.
Main Duties Include but may not be limited to:
> Ensure the lot where the vehicles are is in excellent condition and clean
> Check-in and process new vehicles from factory and used vehicles as they arrive
> Ensure the interior and exterior of the building is in excellent condition
> Overseeing the detailing of used vehicles and the cleaning of sold vehicles
> Verifying the details of vehicles online and make sure there is the correct number and type of photos.
> Co-ordinating the reconditioning of vehicles including windshield replacement and body work
> Making sure vehicles are parked in the correct place and that the keys are where they belong
> Co-ordinating mechanical repairs and double checking that all task are completed adequately
Skills Required:
>Completion of secondary school
>Strong ability to use computer software
>Highly conscientious and detail orientated
>Punctuality and positive attitude
>Previous experience detailing vehicles
>Proven ability to communicate effectively
>Proven ability to oversee the activities of others and hold them accountable
>Self-motivated
>Valid class 5 or better Saskatchewan drivers licence
>Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
>Clean drivers abstract
Physical Conditions & Capability:
>Physical strength is required
>Some sitting at a desk
>Job requires outside work all year in all different weather
Must be able to work in a noisy and stimulating environment.
