Description

The HR Analyst, HRIS is part of a new team designed to support and maintain all systems required to meet human resource information needs for strategic human resource management, payroll and compliance at Viterra.  These systems include Workday HCM, Cornerstone LMS, along with any other technical integration with vendor systems.  Based in the Regina Head Office, this role will:

    Assist in identifying and developing recommendations for business process and system changes. Develops a test plan and conducts thorough system testing ensuring that processes and information are providing the required results.
    Assist in the development of system administrative procedures and policies related to the operation of the HRIS.
    Develop and maintain relationships with internal HR users to identify needs and ensure the system is providing information upon which management and business decisions can be based.
    Provide internal and external reporting as required.

The ideal candidate has a combination of education and experience obtained through post secondary education in business administration or computer science along with a minimum of two years of experience working in the administration of HR, Payroll or an HRIS or related equivalent software application.  Applicants must have a general knowledge and understanding of HR processes, procedures and policies in order to translate business requirements into system.  Any direct experience or training in Workday will be considered an asset.  Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate a technical aptitude along with superior problem solving and analytical skills along with an innovative and efficient approach to development of solutions and process.  Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential to this role, while also maintaining an appreciation for independent work and time to reflect on analysis.
