Description

The Challenge: As a Technical Analyst you will provide technical support in a Windows based environment to resolve end user incidents and requests regarding all applications, desktops, servers, phones, portable devices, and audio/visual equipment. You must be able to identify problems, troubleshoot and provide steps to eventual resolution of issues.  
In this position, you will assist with license management and maintaining hardware and software inventories.  You will work closely with senior IT staff in configuring and maintaining the server and network infrastructure and ensuring patching of systems. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects including implementation of new hardware and software.  In addition, you will be required to design and create a wide range of new customer facing materials using InDesign and Photoshop and update the external website and internal SharePoint site as required.  Additional responsibilities may include other administrative tasks or projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
Degree in a computer-related field such as computer science, information science or management information systems, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Min 4 years experience supporting desktop hardware and software in an enterprise environment
Microsoft certification (MCITP or MCP) would be an asset
Strong knowledge of Windows Server including install, configuration and maintenance for 2008 and 2012 server
Strong knowledge of virtual servers, backup solutions, Microsoft SQL and Microsoft Exchange
Working knowledge of various firewalls and switches, securing network devices, security devices, operating systems, and Internet access
Knowledge of SharePoint, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
Aptitude to recognize and maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive and confidential information
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong analytical skills
