Job Description: Reporting to the Manager of Inpatient Psychiatry & Psychiatric Rehabilitation, the incumbent will work with clients with chronic and persistent mental illnesses in a community setting using case management and recovery models of care.    
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS) or Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Experience
Minimum 3 years recent experience in Mental Health related services
Minimum 1 year supervisory experience
Nursing experience working with clients with chronic mental illness


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Counseling skills
Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position
Ability to travel both within the region and provincially
Assessment skills
Time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of the Mental Health Act, DSM IV, and The Family Services Act, Mental Health Approved Home Policy and Regulations, Social Assistance Program Regulations, Regional Health Policies, RPNAS Code of Ethics, and Rehabilitation Program Guidelines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
