The Personal Care Worker (PCW) is responsible for the direct care and supervision of the residents and provides for the residents emotional and physical needs through the provision of basic home care duties, therapeutic interventions, and a safe, nurturing, structured environment. The PCW is directly responsible to the Program Manager.
Qualifications:
The Personal Care Worker will have a combination of education and experience related to working with vulnerable adults and will possess personal attributes that facilitate the development of trusting and caring relationships with residents. Knowledge of First Nations culture, traditions, and beliefs is an asset. Criminal Record Check with a vulnerable sector query, and valid class 5 drivers license are required.
