Quest is currently recruiting for a Medical Office Assistant to join our clients team.
Main duties include:
- answering busy switchboard
- greet patients and check them in
- knowledge of the Accuro system an asset
- schedule patients for appointments
- handle cash/cheque payments
- update/scan patient files
- prepare patients for examination, height, weight, blood pressure, urinalysis, ECG, etc.
- record all information correctly
- collect and prepare laboratory specimens
- maintain supplies, arrange examining room instruments and equipment, clean and prepare rooms
- transcribe letters for doctors
Administrative duties to include:
- ensure that answering service is set up after hours
- check and follow up on emails
- scheduling of doctors for after hours calls
- updating the Accuro appointment scheduler
- scheduling and co-ordinating of staff hours
- training of staff when necessary
This position is a Senior Roll, therefore,
along with responsibilities described, the individual must have supervisory skills and experience.
Must have medical office assistant diploma along with minimum 3-5 years experience.
