Melfort Daycare Co-operative Site # 1 and # 2 are licensed for 75 children and are open Monday to Friday. The center provides high quality childcare for infants, toddlers, and preschool children ages 6 weeks to 12 years of age. The Daycare focuses on the Play and Exploration: Early Learning Program Guide. The ECE position works closely with other staff, develops and maintains a healthy relationship with parents, and serves as a role model for the children. Daily duties include planning and implementing programming, supervision, daily cleaning and any other duties assigned by the Supervisor. The Melfort Daycare Co-operative is a unionized workplace. Education:
ECE Level I, II, or III
First Aid/CPR certificate
Experience:
The preferred candidate will have experience in a child care setting.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Ability to be proactive and creative in problem-solving and decision making.
Knowledge of policies and procedures.
Self-motivated and able to motivate others.
Rate of Pay:
Depends on level of experience and as per CUPE Collective Agreement
