Description

Casual Math & Chemistry Teacher

Oxford Learning Saskatoon is looking for a reliable, upbeat and passionate teacher to work primarily with students in grades 9-12 in our Advantage Program. Our High School Advantage Programs offer support to students to improve their academic skills and study habits. This teacher will also be expected to teach elementary students in Gr.1-8.  Our student to teacher ratio is 3:1.

A great candidate for this position will possess the following skills:
Extensive knowledge of the current grade 9-12 math curriculum (including Advanced functions, Linear Algebra, Calculus and Data Management)
Chemistry is mandatory; Physics is an asset
Great organization skills/must be able to multi-task and think on your feet
Strong English language written and oral communication skills
Strong time management skills
Completion of B.Ed or enrolment in the B.Ed program is not required, but will be given preference
French is an asset

Position starts immediately after training. Starting rate is $15.00/hr. Mandatory shifts are Wednesdays and Thursdays 4-8PM with potential to increase.
