Description

Based in Pelican Narrows, PBCN Ambulance Service provides an essential service for a number of Northeastern Saskatchewan communities. Pelican Narrows is located just over an hour north-west of Flin Flon, MB. We are currently seeking community minded individuals to fill a full-time position with our EMS service. Schedule will be 7 days in, 7 days out and accommodations will be provided at the crew base.

Qualifications:
- Current registration for EMR-SCOP
- Saskatchewan Class 4 License
- Driver Abstract
- CPR for Health Care Provider or BLS Provider
- Criminal record check

Specific Skills
 - Administer medications and provide advanced emergency treatments to patients
 - Administer pre-hospital emergency care
 - Transport patients to hospital or other medical facility for further medical care
 - Maintain ambulances and emergency care equipment and supplies
 - Document and record nature of injuries and treatment provided
 - Assist hospital personnel with provision of medical treatment, if necessary
 - Assess extent of injuries or illness of trauma victims to determine emergency medical treatment
